“Through my internship, I’ve gained deeper insights, a warm welcome – and some sore muscles.”
Meet Filip Berglund, who is completing his internship with us at Evolabel.
Filip is originally from Bohuslän and is now in his fifth and final year at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg. With a background in Engineering Mathematics, he is currently studying the master’s program Learning and Leadership – a choice rooted in his early understanding of the crucial role inspiring teachers can play in both academic performance and motivation.
Already in upper secondary school, Filip discovered his interest in learning, not only for his own development but also through supporting others in their studies.
When it was time to choose an internship, Filip faced a crossroads: school or industry? His curiosity about how learning and leadership work in practice, outside the classroom, became decisive. He chose the corporate world – and Evolabel. Evolabel’s leading role within Print & Apply, along with its strong technical development, made a strong impression on him. Evolabel’s technology, combined with recommendations from former interns, made the decision easy.
“You can really tell that people are at the center, even though Evolabel is a company in growth. I was surprised by how open the culture is and how naturally collaboration flows between people and departments. Even though there are around 50 employees, the company feels very familiar.”
During his internship, Filip has experienced both advanced technology and everyday life in a growing company. He highlights the importance of the work environment, company culture, and the informal interactions that happen across department lines.
“Employee well being is truly prioritized. Fika, group workouts, and ping pong all contribute to the atmosphere – even if it led to some sore muscles. It’s in those informal moments that much of the learning happens, and you feel included right away.”
When asked how he would describe the internship experience to someone considering applying, Filip summarizes it like this:
“It has been inclusive, welcoming, fun, and incredibly educational. The onboarding worked great – everything practical was in place from day one, and the information was clear. It’s simply fun to come here.”
We want to extend a big thank you to Filip for his dedication and time with us. It has been a pleasure to have you as an intern at Evolabel, and we wish you the best of luck as you approach the final stretch of your studies!
