Co-Op System
Scalable Capacity and Redundancy
Scalable Capacity and Redundancy
Evolabel Cooperative Mode, Co-Op, is a unique concept where a group of up to four printers communicate and work together for scalable capacity and redundancy without additional hardware or software. Co-Op is the perfect Print & Apply solution for any application that requires high capacity.
The innovative software adapts to the host control system and not the other way around. It allows for a new way to unlock the potential of your labeling system.
The core of the solution is the principle of collaboration. The printers in a Co-Op group communicate with each other and schedule each print job, in real time, to the printer that is most suited for the task – in other words, the printers share the workload.
The Co-Op group is controlled by one main printer. No changes in the host system are required when new printers are added as the designated Co-Op main printer is the single point of contact for the host system. All additional printers are directly controlled by the main printer, and it will handle the rest of the "line control" by itself.
This way the time for operators to change labels and maintenance is maximized even if one printer is offline, while simultaneously upholding the required throughput.
The result is a scalable labeling solution that reduces operator stress, while maximizing uptime and throughput, without requiring any external hardware or software.
Customer Testimonial
Arla Foods in Denmark are looking at great sales forecasts that didn’t match the current capacity on the production line. The bottleneck was caused by the print and apply system. They were introduced to Evolabel’s Co-Op solution, where the benefits of the printer collaboration increased the capacity, thus making the line run more effortlessly.
This led Arla Foods to double their capacity on their tray labeler production line. Listen to Thomas Jessen Strebøl, M&E Project Leader & Automation Engineer, tell the rest of the story.
